The Founder’s Message
Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Some call it coincidence. But those who walk with God know it as a divine story unfolding— an invisible hand writing chapters of destiny before the ink even touches the page.
Perhaps you have come to Rebekah and 10 Camels Community (RCC) not by accident, but by the quiet guidance of the Lord— His gentle hand leading your steps to this sacred place.
This ministry did not begin as a human plan or a worldly endeavor. It was born slowly, like a seed planted in fertile soil—through prayer, through faithful hearts, and through the quiet whisper of the Holy Spirit calling us to trust God more deeply.
You are here because you believe something sacred: that meeting is not a matter of chance or convenience, but a covenant written by the hand of God. I honor your faith. I honor your patience. And I honor the courage it takes to wait for the Lord’s perfect timing.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”— Proverbs 3:5–6
Our own journey began on a snowy winter night in early January 2001. My family arrived in Canada with little more than faith and hope, trusting that God had already gone in pillars of fire and cloud before us. From Toronto to St. Catharines, from Windsor to Woodstock, God guided our steps—never hurried, never late, always faithful.
Through decades of service in education and cross-cultural ministry between South Korea and North America, we began to notice a quiet longing in the hearts of many believers. Many of faithful Korean Christian men and women were praying for partners who shared their faith and calling. Their longing became our burden. Their prayers became our prayers.
In those moments of prayer, Genesis 24 came alive in our hearts. Abraham sent his servant to find a bride for Isaac, trusting not human wisdom but God’s guidance. The servant prayed at the well, and God revealed Rebekah— not by chance, but by divine providence.
Through that story, God spoke to our hearts: “Serve My People with the Same Faith.” Thus, the ministry of Rebekah and 10 Camels Community (RCC) was born. Not as a business, but as a ministry of prayer where God leads, prepares, and unites.
We walk alongside young Korean Christian singles across the world—praying, discerning, and trusting that the same God who led the servant to Rebekah still guides His children today. Every love story is written by God’s hand, and every step of your journey is known by Him.
May the Lord guide your steps, bless your waiting heart, and lead you to the one He has prepared. With prayerful reverence,

세상은 이를 우연이라 부릅니다. 그러나 하나님과 동행하는 사람들은 압니다—그것이 하나님께서 미리 써 내려가시는 운명의 이야기라는 것을. 여러분이 Rebekah and 10 Camels Community (RCC)를 찾아오신 것은 단순한 우연이 아니라, 하나님의 조용한 인도하심일지도 모릅니다.
이 사역은 인간의 계획이나 세속적인 목표로 시작된 것이 아닙니다. 씨앗이 땅에 심겨 천천히 자라듯, 오랜 기도와 믿음의 마음, 그리고 성령님의 조용한 인도하심 속에서 시작되었습니다.여러분이 이곳에 오신 이유는 분명합니다. 만남은 우연이나 편리함이 아니라 하나님께서 쓰신 거룩한 언약이라고 믿기 때문입니다. 여러분의 믿음을 존중합니다. 여러분의 인내를 존경합니다. 그리고 하나님의 때를 기다리는 용기를 축복합니다.
“너는 마음을 다하여 여호와를 신뢰하고 네 명철을 의지하지 말라. 너는 범사에 그를 인정하라. 그리하면 네 길을 지도하시리라”— 잠언 3:5–6
저희 가족의 여정은 2001년 1월 눈 내리던 겨울밤에 시작되었습니다. 우리는 미래에 대하여 아무런 보장도 없는 상태로 캐나다 땅에 도착했지만, 하나님께서 미리 구름기둥과 불기등으로 인도하신다는 믿음을 가지고 있었습니다.
토론토에서 세인트 캐서린스, 윈저에서 우드스탁까지, 하나님은 한 걸음 한 걸음 인도하셨습니다. 서두르지 않으시고, 늦지 않으시며 언제나 신실하셨습니다. 저희는 27년 동안 교육과 다문화 사역을 통해, 한국과 북미를 잇는 사역을 하면서 많은 믿음의 사람들의 마음속 기도를 보게 되었습니다.
많은 신실한 한인 크리스천 남녀들이 같은 믿음과 소명을 나눌 파트너를 위해 기도하고 있었습니다. 그들의 간절함이 우리의 부담이 되었고, 그들의 기도가 저희의 기도가 되었습니다.
기도 가운데 창세기 24장이 마음에 깊이 다가왔습니다. 아브라함은 종을 보내어 사람의 지혜가 아닌 하나님의 인도하심으로 이삭의 아내를 찾게 하였습니다. 그 종은 먼저 우물가에서 기도했고, 하나님께서는 리브가를 예비하셨습니다. 그 만남은 우연이 아니라 하나님의 섭리였습니다.
그 말씀을 묵상하던 가운데 하나님께서 말씀하셨습니다. “같은 믿음으로 내 백성을 섬기라.” 그결과로, Rebekah and 10 Camels Community (RCC) 사역이 탄생하게되었습니다.
따라서, 본 공동체는 만남의 연결이 아니라, 하나님께서 인도하시고 준비하시며 만나게 하시는 기도의 사역을 위한 공동체입니다. 우리는 전 세계 한인 크리스천 싱글들과 함께 기도하며 분별하며 걸어갑니다. 리브가를 인도하셨던 동일한 하나님께서 오늘도 그의 자녀들을 인도하신다는 믿음으로 말입니다. 여러분의 사랑 이야기 또한, 하나님께서 가장 아름답게 써 내려가시기를 기도합니다. 주님의 은혜 안에서.
