Plan for 7-Week Bible Studies
Every member is invited to faithfully participate in the 7-week Bible course (seven sessions, 60 minutes each) as an essential step in continuing this sacred journey toward a covenant relationship. Through this meaningful time of Scripture, prayer, and reflection, you will be strengthened in your faith and prayerfully connected with those who share a sincere and Christ-centered desire for covenant relationship.
Week 1: Identity in Christ
Key Scripture: Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17 Overview: Understand your identity as a child of God and embrace a covenant-based life. Discussion Questions:
· Who am I in Christ?
· How does knowing my identity influence my relationships? Application: Personal reflection and journaling on God-given identity.
Week 2: Biblical Love & Marriage
Key Scripture: Ephesians 5:22-33, Genesis 2:18-25 Overview: Learn the biblical principles of love, marriage, and partnership. Discussion Questions:
· What is God’s definition of love?
· How does the Bible guide marital relationships? Application: Identify ways to cultivate Christ-centered love in daily life.
Week 3: Healing & Wholeness
Key Scripture: Psalm 147:3, Isaiah 61:1 Overview: Experience emotional and spiritual healing, restoring wholeness in Christ. Discussion Questions:
· What areas of my life need God’s healing?
· How can I invite God into my brokenness? Application: Prayer exercise for personal healing.
Week 4: Covenant Relationship
Key Scripture: Genesis 24, Hebrews 8:6 Overview: Understand covenant as the foundation for God-centered relationships. Discussion Questions:
· What does a covenant relationship mean biblically?
· How does covenant shape marriage expectations? Application: Reflect on personal readiness for covenant relationships.
Week 5: Prayer & Discernment
Key Scripture: James 1:5, Philippians 1:9-10 Overview: Develop habits of prayer and discernment in seeking God’s guidance. Discussion Questions:
· How do I discern God’s will in relationships?
· What role does prayer play in decision-making? Application: Create a personal prayer plan for guidance.
Week 6: Communication in Christ
Key Scripture: Ephesians 4:29, James 1:19 Overview: Practice respectful, loving, and God-centered communication. Discussion Questions:
· How does Christ-centered communication look in daily life?
· How can I resolve conflicts biblically? Application: Role-play and reflection on effective communication.
Week 7: Trusting His Guidance and Direct Conversation
Key Scripture: Ecclesiastes 3:1, Psalm 27:14 Overview: Learn to wait on God and trust His timing in relationships. Discussion Questions:
· How do I trust God when waiting for His guidance?
· What is the spiritual benefit of waiting?
Direct Conversation: In the final session, participants will have the opportunity to prayerfully select up to two members they feel led to know more personally and engage in meaningful, direct conversation—seeking to build a Christ-centered relationship that, in God’s perfect timing, may grow into matching, dating, and ultimately a covenant marriage.
